Wages

Rubysh management establishes minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping method based on mutual agreement with our employees with a genuine intention to improve their living conditions. Throughout a periodic review, we would involve employees at every step to discuss about their remuneration and ensure that future wage increment is subject to open and mutual discussion and positively contributing to healthy social dialogue.

Parental Leaves

Pregnancy and parental leave entitlements are covered by our management.  Employees must give 21 days’ notice for the leaves before their intended start date. Employees must confirm the start and end dates in their notice.  If there’s an emergency or unexpected event and employees need time off immediately to care for their crucial matter, they might have the right to submit direct request. We also allow new parents and caregivers to phase back into work on a reduced and/or flexible schedule.

Working Hours

We work under a flextime arrangement where employees might be required to work a standard number of core hours within a specified period according to their commitment. By this, we offer a schedule that allows them a greater latitude in choosing their particular hours of work, or freedom to change work schedules from one week to the next depending on the employee’s personal needs.

Child Labour

Rubysh management believes that children future development and that of the communities in which they live is best served through education and not child labour. Therefore, we do not tolerate child labour, even any forms of child exploitation and abuse. We are committed to ensuring the rights and protection of children under age 18 and providing all children of all employees, the best possible opportunities to access primary and secondary education.

Health, Safety and Environment

We are committed to ensuring a safe and healthful workplace for our employees who would be nurturing parents, thus this commitment also  extends to their children. We believe that safety and protecting the environment is good business and that all work-related injuries, illnesses, property losses and adverse environmental impacts are part of our precaution. In addition, we will also actively monitor, audit and review to improve systems, processes, health, safety and environmental performance.
